At a distance of 4 kilometers from Divri of Fthiotida of the Municipality of Lamia (about 10 kilometers north of Lamia), at a deserted place of Mount Othrys, is built the male monastery of Saint Nikolaos.

The Katholikon (major temple, catholic) of the monastery has an intense architectural and religious interest, so it has been declared a preservable monument. In this desolate location lived at times as hermits, various monks, who were descended from the village of Divris.

For the present form of the monastery, the inhabitants of the village, the cultural association which constructed a guest house and several believers of Lamia city really helped. Next to the monastery there is a large and imposing gorge, in which with a special pulley is lighten a candle in Saint Nikolaos.

At the Temple there are two chapels, a sacristy, a prothesis (altar) and a narthex. Also interesting is the belfry made of stone (work of a Romanian monk of Mount Athos).

The monastery celebrates on December 6th.
