Livadi (aka Mourto Bay), is the largest and most popular beach of Iraklia, in the northeastern coast, opposite Venetiko islet. There is fine white sand and shallow water for several meters from the shore and there is also the view of the Castle on the background. On the beach there are trees, stone benches and a net for beach volley.

In recent years, a turtle, John, as the locals call it, was added in the attractions of the place. The turtle appears frequently in short distance from the coast.

The beach is within a short distance from the paved road and there is enough space to park your car. In the summer months a community bus makes a stop there three times a day.
