This is a small island opposite Ierapetra. It is uninhabited but during the summer months boats from Ierapetra bring visitors there to spend the day. You will be mesmerized by the exotic natural landscape dominated by cedar, the golden sand and the light aquamarine water. Gaidouronisi used to be the destination for those seeking holidays away from civilization since the only facility on the island was a tavern. However spending the night on the island is no longer allowed.
