The exhibition includes 177 ancient objects found in the excavations carried out in the airport area. The archaeological sites of the area are shown on a map so that visitors can have a complete picture of the region. Also, the evolution of the region from the Early Helladic to the post-Byzantine period is presented through visual material (texts, photographs).

Among the most important exhibits, there are the findings from the prehistoric settlement (Early Helladic: 3200-2000 BC)  of Zagani hill, which was found at the north side of the airport. The stone tools, the pottery and the model of the village give visitors a brief but accurate picture of that period. Moreover, the exhibition also includes two burials of the Geometric period coming from the cemetery at the north end of the airport, on Spata – Artemis avenue, as well as objects from the pottery workshop (2nd - 4th c. BC) which was discovered in 1980 in Vathi well, in the middle of the airport. Finally, the exhibition includes a copy of the marble sphinx of Spata, exhibited at the National Archaeological Museum.
