Information

The collection of wild autumn vines is done manually by trained personnel. With proper pruning of the overhead sections, the plants are avoided and the populations are renewed and vitalized.

Where possible (eg sage), the collection of dandruff occurs after flowering, giving the bees the opportunity to harvest the flower and the seed to mature, thus allowing the natural reproduction of the plant.
Herbs (native and cultivated) harvested either dried, packaged and either available for use (phytotherapeutic, culinary, beverages, etc.) or promoted directly to the laboratory for processing (essential oils, extracts, tinctures, etc.) .)

The herbs are dried in shady and airy places, avoiding the use of the oven, so that the plant retains its properties. The climate of Amorgos is ideal for natural drainage.

Our laboratory is located in a central part of Lagada in a properly renovated old building. It has two distilleries for the production of essential oils, another experimental for the study of various samples, and two extractors for the production of oil extracts and oils.

It also has shredding, homogenization, pumping, cleaning, bottling, basic chemical equipment, etc.
